Sophia Academy is a tuition free independent school serving students from low income families. We believe access to a quality education should not be limited by economic barriers, and we invest in our students by providing a rigorous, engaging, empowering middle school education whose cost is approximately $25,000 annually, per student.  

Our scholarship donors support our vision of an equitable world where girls and women are seeking fulfillment, realizing their dreams, and inspiring others. Won’t you join them?

A scholarship gifts supports a student through a year of rigorous and joyful learning opportunities, enabling them to discover who they are and what they can achieve. This donation covers the operational expenses that other schools fund through tuition--compensation and benefits for our dedicated, nationally/regionally recognized teachers; curricular materials; field trips; technology; enrichment programs; a safe, secure, healthy learning environment; and more. 

Scholarship donors are partners in our learning community, welcomed at school events and invited to participate in our program as mentors and volunteers.
